A message From The Chief of Police

Welcome to the Wendell Police Department Web site. The Police Department has a staff of highly dedicated and motivated individuals. The Wendell Police Department currently employs 5 full time Sworn Officers, 1 Community Service Officer, 4 Part Time Officers, and 4 Reserve Officers. Our local office located in City Hall is open Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and our CSO will answer your questions and assist you in anyway necessary. The office is closed on Government recognized holidays. Our phones are automatically transferred to Sircomm, dispatch center located in Jerome. Our city offers services such as parks and recreation, The Gem team, The Optimist club, public works, planning and zoning, library and many other community based organizations and events.

We are happy to assist you with any problems, and will seek your cooperation in resolving any issues that arise. A community that works together, such as ours, lowers crime rates, because everyone is interested, and has a say in what happens in their community.

Wendell Police Department offers a number of crime prevention services including; speaking to civic groups, instructional classes on prevention and recognition of crime, and self and home defense.

As your Chief of Police, it will be my priority to adhere to the Mission Statement of the Wendell Police Department, and maintain the trust and confidence of the citizens of the City of Wendell, or anyone who may travel through.
